Yesterday was quite the food day for us in IT: Elph started posting about teas, Billie noshed on Askinosie chocolates, and I tasted Creamery cheeses with Goose Island beers.  Josh from the Creamery was hosting Rob from Goose Island to plan an upcoming special dinner at the Roadhouse and invited Eric (Mail Order) and me [...]

Did some work at the Roadhouse this afternoon and Fabian treated me to a Po’ Boy sandwich.  I ordered it with fried oysters – you can choose that, shrimp, catfish, or all three – served on a Bakehouse hogie roll with mayo, cabbage, and Cornman pickled green tomato.  Delicious!

Yesterday afternoon we all rode up to Cornman Farms in Dexter to have Mark show us around.  We spent a couple hours touring, harvesting, and tasting.  We had a lot of fun and Mark was an excellent host – and a terrific cook, too!  After our visit to the farm we all went to the [...]
