Nominate Ann Arbor for Google Fiber

2 Mar 2010Google is planning on launching an experimental, ultra high-speed (over 1 gigabit per second) network, and test it in location(s) across the country. “The level of community support” will be one of the key criteria used by the Google decision makers. Free Wifi at Airports for the Holidays courtesy of Google

16 Nov 2009Google is sponsoring free wifi at 47 airports across the US now until Jan 15th. Accompanying it is a photo contest as well as matching donations up to $250,000 from Google to participating non-profits.
