Park and Grow

Dropping by the Roadhouse this morning, I glimpsed Mark Baerwolf and Wendy from Cornman Farms with their hands in dirt in the parking lot. I had to ask what they were doing.

He answered, “We’re planting herbs right along the sides, then a bed of okra in the middle. It doesn’t look professional right now but give it a week or so when things start to come up and it’ll look amazing!”

A tiny garden patch would be an oasis in that boring concrete desert. Wouldn’t that be something!
