The latest version of Ubuntu, “Intrepid Ibix,” was released on Thursday.  It includes the latest version of the usual components (Gnome, X.org, etc.) with improved networking (WiFi) and portability.  Recent Ubuntu releases have focused on laptops, and “Ibix” moves another step forward (peep the screenshot!).  The usual sites are abuzz with this latest release.  Here’s the round-up:
