Google Transit for Ann Arbor
Just in time for the Ann Arbor Commuter Challenge, Google has enhanced their maps of Ann Arbor to now integrate the AATA bus schedules and routes. I’ve had mixed results with it so far–plugging in the Deli to Bakehouse yields a pretty interesting route, but I see a huge potential, especially if the UM buses and proposed commuter rail and AMTRAK train schedules were also integrated. Give it a whirl: Google Transit Ann Arbor.

yeah, it gets the walking directions wrong systematically - if you are on the wrong side of 94 it tells you to teleport through traffic.
here’s a better route bakehouse to deli:
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=en&geocode=5491278807299585191,42.284296,-83.745742&saddr=422+Detroit+St.,+Ann+Arbor,+MI+48104+(Zingermans+Deli)&daddr=s+state+and+e+ellsworth,+ann+arbor&sll=42.248979,-83.751183&sspn=0.057562,0.111752&date=4%2F25%2F08&time=3:57pm&ttype=dep&dirflg=r&ie=UTF8&ll=42.257111,-83.73848&spn=0.057555,0.111752&z=13&start=0
basically take the 6, it’s a straight shot, you just have to walk to s state and ellsworth to pick it up.
